This post is all about the medical colleges in Pakistan. Medicine is considered among the noble fields to opt for by an individual. It is the most respectable and profitable profession in Pakistan. Everyone is striving hard to get into a medical college, but due to a lack of resources or sometimes because of poor knowledge about the admission process, and criteria, or even some people don’t even know about top universities and the top medical colleges in Pakistan. These are some of the reasons why even some of our high achievers fail to come up.
First of all, let me tell you about the total number of medical colleges in Pakistan including public and private sector institutes, total seats, and the main recognizing authority. So in total Pakistan has 114 Medical colleges that are approved and recognized, out of the 44 are public sector while 70 fall under private sector institutes.
The primary recognizing authority was the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC), but from now onwards that is October 2020, will be Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) and the Higher Education Commission – HEC. Before running for admission you should know about the total seats available in Pakistan for Medical. You can also get good information about top engineering universities in Pakistan.
