3: Pakistan Monument

Pakistan Monument is considered as a national monument of the country. The first brick was laid on 25th May 2004, was accomplished in 2006 and initiated on 23rd March 2007.  There is also a National Heritage Museum located within the boundaries of the monument. 4: Rohtas Fort

The fort was created in the 16th century in the vicinity of Jhelum city in Punjab. Rohtas Fort was founded under the rule of Sher Shah Suri. The fort is famous for its ramparts and its tremendous gigantic gates. Rohtas fort was registered as a world heritage site in 1977 by UNESCO. The fort was aimed to restrict the Mughal emperor Hamayun to come back to India, as he was deported to Persia which is known as Iran now, after failing in the warfare of Kannauj. Rohtas Fort is present at a cardinal location between the mountains of Afghanistan and Punjab.

5: Minar-e-Pakistan

Minar-e-Pakistan is among the national monuments situated in the heart of Pakistan, the city of Lahore. It was founded from the period of 1960 to 1968 at the place where All India Muslim League approved the Pakistan Resolution in 1940 on the 23rd of March. Minar-e-Pakistan is a fusion of Islamic and a Mughal architecture. Nasreddin Murat Kahn was a civil engineer who designed and oversaw this project.

6: Wazir Khan Mosque

The mosque was built in the 17th century and is situated within the historic core of the city of Lahore. Wazir Khan mosque is a masterpiece of the art of the Mughal era, was made in Shah Jahan’s government. It is named after the Physician of the Mughal Empire, Hakeem Ilam-ud-din Ansari, who was famous as Wazir Khan. A mausoleum of a Sufi saint, Miran Badsha is also in the arena of the mosque. 7: Lahore Fort

Lahore Fort is a core fortified site of the city of gardens, Lahore. It is also among the piece of art of Mughal time. It was founded in the time of Emperor Akbar in 1566. Lahore Fort has two parts, first in an executive portion which is linked to the front gate which has Dewaan-e-khaas for the Royal guests. Second is a residential portion comprising of Sheesh Mahal, commodious lavatory, and lawns. The walls of the fort are embellished by the Iranian Kashi tiles.

8: Hiran Minar

Hiran Minar is another part of Mughal times art, situated in Shiekhupura near Lahore. It was constructed in the time of Mughal Emperor Jhangir at the royal hunting place. There is a tomb of the beloved pet deer “Mansraj” of the King Jehangir. The Mughal Emperor Jehangir built Hiran Minar in the memory of his dearest antelope.

9: Mezaar-e-Quaid

The great leader of the time and the Father of our Nation, Qaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah has his final resting place in his Home town, Karachi. This iconic symbol was designed modernly in 1960 and came to its accomplishment in 1971. The mausoleum also has the tomb of Fatima Jinnah, sister of the great leader who was known as Madar-e-Millat and Liaqat Ali Khan, the very first Prime Minister of Pakistan.
